Refund policy

At Shop Market Deals, we strive to provide quality products and excellent customer service. Please review our return policy carefully before making a purchase.

Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery on eligible items.

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be in original condition
  • Item must include all accessories, packaging, and components
  • Item must not show signs of physical damage, misuse, or tampering

Live Fish & Aquatic Livestock Policy

Due to the sensitive nature of live aquatic animals:

ALL LIVE FISH SALES ARE FINAL.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on live fish or aquatic livestock unless the animal arrives deceased (DOA).

For DOA claims:

  • You must contact us within 2 hours of delivery
  • Clear photos/videos of the unopened bag and deceased fish are required
  • Claims submitted outside the required timeframe may be denied

Approved DOA claims may qualify for:

  • Replacement
  • Store credit
  • Refund at our discretion

We are not responsible for losses caused by:

  • Improper acclimation
  • Water conditions
  • Tank mates/aggression
  • Customer negligence
  • Delayed delivery caused by carriers or weather

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and non-refundable:

  • Live aquatic plants
  • Custom-built or modified items
  • Digital products or codes
  • Clearance or “as-is” items
  • Opened consumables or maintenance products
  • Items damaged by customer misuse

Electronics & Refurbished Devices

All refurbished electronics are tested prior to sale. Due to the nature of refurbished and pre-owned products:

  • Minor cosmetic wear may be present
  • Battery health may vary unless otherwise stated
  • Devices must be returned in the same condition received

Devices that are iCloud locked, password locked, physically damaged, water damaged, or modified after delivery are not eligible for return.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Electronics

If your item arrives defective or not functioning properly, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order number
  • Description of issue
  • Photos or video if applicable

We will work to resolve the issue through replacement, repair, store credit, or refund where appropriate.

Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect
  • We recommend using tracked shipping for all returns

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 3–7 business days.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before shipment. Once an order has shipped, it falls under the standard return process.
